Enfield Sausages

On Sunday 18th I was kindly invited to join the monthly “Enfield Sausages” monthly walk organised by Nadiya Bekar at Enfield town park. This fantastic event is a meeting of Dachshunds (Sausage dogs) from across Enfield and further field. During a thoroughly enjoyable morning  I discussed some of the issues this breed can be prone to including developing spinal issues such as Intervertebral disc disease (IVDD) and knee issues like Luxating Patella. I want to thank Nadiya and the gang for their kind hospitality and I will be doing a series of short videos of how to manage and treat these conditions as well as prevention of injury ideas specifically for this breed.
